At Burst Creative when creating Designs we follow a unique set of proven steps that ensure a successful outcome for our clients.

These flexible steps help to enhance the design process by allowing our staff to focus on the creative aspects of the project knowing full well that these steps will deliver a great outcome.

During our Creative Process we always:

  1. Ensure we Listen to the Client!
    • Receive Client’s Brief: Let Client Speak
    • Ensure we understand Client’s Brief: Does Client feel Heard
    • Educate Client as necessary: Explain Pertinent Information
    • Conclude the Briefing Session: Agree on Brief and Process
  2. Ensure Most Cost Effective/Efficient Method is Adopted
    • Determine best/most efficient Design Solution and Processes
    • Keep within Client’s Budget/Expectation where possible
    • Educate Client about Printing Methods: What’s best for project
    • Provide Quote where necessary
  3. Ensure all Deadlines are Met
    • Always Reply Promptly
    • Plan and Adhere to Production Schedule
    • Break down Project to relevant steps to keep forward momentum
    • Follow Up Client/Suppliers where necessary
    • Keep Client/Suppliers Informed of Progress
  4. Ensure Design Maintains Client’s Brand Personality
    • If Brand Personality has not previously been defined, work with Client for Definition
    • Refer to previous Designs to Gain understanding of Client’s BC where necessary
    • Define Colours, Elements, Typefaces, Styles, Techniques and Language that form the Client’s Brand Personality
    • Create Design that brings to life the BC
    • Refresh/Adapt the Brand Personality only where necessary
    • NOTE: As some Brands are multi‐faceted for various reasons, I ensure use of the most relevant one for each Project
  5. Ensure Design Speaks to Client’s Target Audience
    • If Target Audience has not previously been defined, work with Client for Definition
    • Gain Understanding of Target Audience where necessary
    • Define Colours, Elements, Typefaces, Styles, Techniques and Language that form the Client’s Target Audience
    • Refresh/Adapt the Target Audience only where necessary
    • NOTE: As some Brands need to communicate to various different audiences, I ensure use of the most relevant one for each Project
  6. Ensure Design Captivates and Communicates Clearly
    • Strip the brief down to it’s bare elements
    • Analyse each of the components and their relationship to each other
    • Eliminate any superfluous information/elements
    • Construct an inspiring and captivating Design based on the remaining content
    • Check Design against Steps 4 and 5 and the original Brief for consistency and relevancy
  7. Ensure Service Exceeds Clients Expectations
    • Listen to the Client!
    • Provide and follow high quality systems/manuals/procedures
    • Use best quality software and hardware
    • Only use high quality reliable Suppliers
    • Follow Up Client at end of Project
    • Adjust Service where necessary
